Jupiter 200

The Jupiter 200 System provides a very thorough coverage of the DOCSIS Phy-layer ATPs for 1.0, 1.1, and 2.0. These tests run inside the Jupiter Sequencer. This gives it the ability to:

  • Create a collection of tests to run unattended
  • View tabular and graphical results for live and historical data with the embedded Data Viewer module
  • Create HTML reports of test results with the Report Generation module
  • Control all interfaces for manual verification of test results with the debug and verification set of tools
  • Easily calibrate the system to obtain accurate results

Some higher layer tests are also available that work within the Jupiter Sequencer platform. However, while these tests are present they are not currently supported. They are offered "AS IS" and without support.

The following list shows the Phy-layer test scripts that are available in the Jupiter system. Datasheets are available by clicking the appropriate DOCSIS version.

Caveats
  1. Due to test ability issues, Test 2 of Phy-10 has been modified from the ATP. Even with these modifications, this test is not 100% accurate or reliable. Future support of Phy-10 Test 2 is not guaranteed .
  2. Currently, this Phy-15 must be run on the VSA.
  3. Procedure 1 of Phy-16 does not provide reliable results. Future support of this procedure is not guarenteed.
  4. Only procedure 2 is tested.
