Jupiter 300

The DAQTron Jupiter 300 is a comprehensive solution for physical (PHY) layer testing of the DOCSIS 3.0 ATP. The system combines the newest RF measurement technology from National Instruments and DOCSIS 3.0 CMTS with DAQTron interfaces, triggering, and software to accomplish single and bonded-channel measurements required in the DOCSIS 3.0 ATP. Several customers are using the Jupiter 300 in pre-certification and certification testing.

Test coverage includes:

• PHY-01.3 - CM Input Power and Frequency Range
• PHY-10.3 - Upstream Frequency Range
• PHY-12.3 - Upstream Channel Transmit Power *3.0 RF Protocol Analyzer to be integrated at later date
• PHY-17.3 - Upstream Spectrum and Out-Of-Band Noise and Spurs (On-Burst)
• PHY-18.3 - Upstream Spectrum and Out-Of-Band Noise and Spurs (Off-Burst)
• PHY-21.3 - CM Receive Power Test
• PHY-24.3 - Modulation Error Rate-MER

PHY-05.3, 07.3, 15.3, 16.3, 23.3, and 25.3 are scheduled for completion in Q3 and Q4 2008.
