Mercury 200
The DAQTron Mercury 200 is a modular manufacturing test platform that enables very high volume manufacturing of consumer cable products such as cable data modems, VoIP cable modems, and set-top boxes. In fact, contract manufacturers worldwide have used DAQTron's Mercury 200 (and it's predecessor) for manufacturing test of almost 10 million products to date.
A typical consumer cable product manufacturing line is shown below (click for larger view). DAQTron has supplied the entire line in some cases; and in others, just the parts needed for that particular customer. By leveraging the newest National Instruments hardware in conjunction with parallelism in DAQTron hardware and software, equipment cost and manufacturing floor space are minimized.
